SC has sought a response from Maharashtra, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, J&K, Haryana, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Delhi and Uttrakhand, from where incidents of threat and violence against Kashmiris were reported. CJI Gogoi also directed police officers, who were earlier appointed as nodal officers would be now responsible to deal with such cases.
