His Dark Materials Review: Improved Second Attempt, but Not Enough

In our His Dark Materials review, we note how a wonderfully-realised world and strong performances can’t quite secure a successful second adaptation attempt of Philip Pullman’s fantasy trilogy, as it’s missing the heart and suffers from oversimplification.
