Wipro said it released a security patch instantly, and is conducting a forensic investigation into the breach. It has quarantined the systems of the employees impacted and said the malware attack would not have any material impact on its financials. Blog KrebsOnSecurity, the first to report on the attack, said Wipro systems were being used as jumping-off points.
